milkteawithoutmilk (MTWM) is a queer kid born in 2023.
They like inclusive safe-space events, informative subcultural zines, and burning CDs.
Our vision
MTWM are building a community in Hong Kong that is inclusive and friendly, with a platform that encourages the creation and consumption of alternative, grassroots, and DIY culture.
Our manifesto
To self-organise without external influence or control;
To sustain ourselves with events, zines, and records distributions, with any and all profits going back to artists/performers, on-going mutual aid programme(s), and future events;
To stand in solidarity with, and provide an alternative and safe events space for those who are under-privileged in this capitalistic and patriarchal society, providing mutual aid wherever appropriate and necessary;
To welcome and create a community of friends that focuses on and actively participates in issues in and out of DIY music and its community.
